For 17 years, MK served as the Head of School at St. Alban’s Episcopal Day School in Harlingen, Texas. During her tenure, she oversaw the complex mechanics of independent school management, driving success across critical operational areas:

• Strategic Growth: Led comprehensive enrollment strategies, financial planning, and robust organizational development initiatives.
• Capital Expansion: Spearheaded a joint capital campaign with St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, resulting in over $3.5 million in facility renovations and new construction.
• Sustainable Funding: Established a powerful annual giving campaign and worked on a signature joint fundraising event that benefited both the church and school.

Governance & Advocacy
MK's influence extends across regional and national independent school networks. Her extensive service includes:

• Director of Professional Learning for the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools (SAES).
• Bishop’s Deputy for Episcopal Schools for the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas.
